Semlor on Fat Tuesday

The semla is to be eaten on Fat Tuesday (that is today), but why only once a year? Almost as soon as christmas is over Swedes starts eating whipped cream buns, named Semla. Five Semlor (thats the name) per person is the average number of Semla-buns that a swede eat every year. If you are in Stockholm today you must try it.

Here are my recommendations, one from every district of the city:
Vetekatten, Kungsgatan 55, City
Xoko, Rörstrandsgatan 15, Vasastan
Gunnarsons Specialkonditori, Götgatan 92, Södermalm
Tössebageriet, Karlavägen 77, Östermalm
