Best hostel in Sweden is on Långholmen in Stockholm
Hostel guests have chosen their favorite hostel in Sweden. The "Pillow of the year award" is everyyear chosen among the Svenska Turistföreningens' hostel guests. The former prison, STF Långholmen in Stockholm, was awarded Pillow of the year (Årets Kudde) with the following motivation:
"The hostel is full of contrasts. Its close to nature yet central. Guests have excellent opportunities for outdoor excercise yet offers something out of the ordinary indoors. The hostel lives its versitile and interesting history yet offers modern service and freshness. the culinary profile is something that former prison guests only could dream about".
Nobel festivities in Stockholm
On December 10, Nobel Day, one of the world’s most prestigious awards will be presented by HM Carl XVI Gustav to a handful of individuals for their exceptional contributions to the world of science, economics, and literature. After the award ceremony int the Concert Hall, the laureates, their families, and other invited guests make their way to the City Hall, where one of Sweden’s most exclusive parties takes place. The 1,300 dinner guests include members of the Royal Family, the Nobel Prize laureates and other outstanding scientists, as well as some of Sweden’s most influential people.
Many people would love to attend the Nobel Prize festivities, but few are priviledged to do so. Tomorrow evening, after work, I will dress up, sipp some champagne and enjoy the festivities on the tv-screen.
One way to breathe in some of the Nobel aura without a formal invitiation is to
Visit the museum that carries Alfred Nobels name; The Nobelmuseum.

The Fair expands
The extension offers other advantages as well. Larger floor space and new restaurant areas combined with adaptable, flexible solutions will mean more customers and new possibilities. The additional space will allow greater flexibility at popular fairs such as the Stockholm Furniture Fair in february.
The walkway will have a polished surface and lots of green details, efforts are also put in to the entrance and the restaurant area.
