Arlanda Expressmagasine Xpress
focuses on Ecology in their last issue. They list both known and unknown (to me) restaurants and boutiques.

Among the wellknown ecologic restaurants you find Organic Green, Green n' lean, Streetrestaurant and the archipelagorestaurant Oaxen, but also the small winebar and restaurant S:t Eriksgatan 1. Rosendals Gardens on Djurgården, Herr Spiridons Allehanda and Streetfood restaruant at the centralstation are other alternatives.

Among the shops you find the wellknown Ekovaruhuset, Happy Hippo, Cajsa Warg, Bondens butik and Sally Ann, but also Goodstore, Moonsun and Gryningen (on Folkungagatan 68).

I don't know exactly what caught my attention when I browsed at AOS the other day: Was it the name Herr Spiridons allehanda (Mr Spiridons varieties of store) or the eco friendly touch? Anyways Herr Spirodons Allehanda produces and sells living organic vegetarian food. This means that the raw food has been heated to maximum 42 degrees in order to preserve nutrition and taste the best. This factory and delicacy place is situated on S:t Eriksgatan 88.

With the global interest in themes like climate changes, the interest for global tourism has grown. Stockholm is a great place to visit for a Eco-stay.  Love and respect for nature are key elements of the Swedish soul and a vital part of modern society. Outdoor life, the right of common access known as "allemansrätten,"  clean drinking water and international work for the global environment are three clear, concrete examples of how the Swedes express their relationship to the environment.  A great way to experience this is to travel to Stockholm. Here are some ideas for an eco-trip to Stockholm at Stockholm Visitors Boards Pressroom.
