Favourable exchange rates make Stockholm more affordable than ever!

The way the Swedish krona has plummeted vis-à-vis the Euro and the Dollar over the last year, might not make Sweden's Central Bank very happy, but it has huge benefit for visitors: the already quite affordable capital of Scandinavia has developed into the bargain of the century for anyone with Euros or US Dollars in their pockets.

Stockholm is no longer expensive . And since June of last summer, the exchange rate of the Swedish krona has taken quite a hit, de facto lowering prices a further 15-30% for visitors from mainland Europe and the US. What this means for anyone planning a corporate meetings or incentive trip, is obvious: you simply get a whole lot more bang for your buck (or Euro...).

What hasn't changed, of course, is Stockholm itself. It's still one of the most stylish, clean, safe and beautiful places anywhere, with superb hotels and restaurants, history and culture everywhere you look and not to be forgotten: an archipelago of some 30 000 islands and skerries, literally at you doorstep.
